As a Finance Analyst, you will provide financial and control expertise to the Factory Management Team in Coleshill, Birmingham, UK, benchmarking KPIs while working with other finance professionals to understand the drivers of financial performance, identifying trends relevant to the business. In this role you will study business performance, including financial modelling to forecast the impacts and risks, and recommend areas for continuous improvement. Your responsibilities

Helping to prepare financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting documents and presentations
Ensuring timely and efficient communication with controllers and the Accounting team to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvement
Optimizing performance to increase productivity by developing KPI’s to measure factory performance and developing automated solutions
Communicating information to relevant stakeholder groups to support corrective action plans
Establishing and overseeing processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information
Support the Factory/Business Controller to ensure that processes are followed and in line with Internal control documentation
Maintaining audit trails and documentation for future audits and reviews

Your background

A minimum of 2+ years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role
Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask
Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Excel & Power BI. Experience in use of Oracle and SAP would also be preferred, but not essential
Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Background in production or manufacturing (desirable)
