AECOM is helping our clients deliver safe and sustainable energy to populations across the globe. Our nuclear power team are part of this solution, providing technical services that span across the whole nuclear fuel life cycle, from inception to decommissioning.
AECOM is expanding and recruiting staff to join our established Nuclear teams in Warrington and Cumbria to work on some of the most high-profile nuclear power stations in Europe. We are looking for experienced Civil and Structural Engineers, Revit Technicians, Mechanical Engineers and Analysts, ideally with recent experience working within the nuclear sector, or other regulated and quality assured systems.
If you work with us, you’ll be joining a community of planners, architects and designers, engineers, cost and project managers, management professionals and other specialists, collaborating across disciplines and the world, taking on the most complex challenges and innovative pioneer solutions that make a positive, lasting impact.
- Knowledge in specialist areas relevant to Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience within highly regulated environment(s), such as: nuclear, defence, petro-chemical or offshore.
- Experience in the full cycle of project design delivery from inception to detailed design.
- Understanding of design principles and have the ability to apply them.
- Able to take responsibility for leading small projects and sub tasks from a technical perspective.
- Experience of working within the Nuclear Sector, new build and decommissioning projects, in roles reliant upon professional engineering expertise and judgement.
- Have a record of successful delivery, including positions influencing professional engineers in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering work packages.
- Meet the requirements for security clearance in the UK.
