As part of Protection and Resilience, the Global Incident Management function, located within Allianz Services Mauritius, performs security monitoring around the clock and manages incidents for entities out of the Allianz Group. It operates in shifts alongside other operators for potential and active threats to keep Allianz’s people, assets, business continuity and high standing reputation safe in today’s complex and everchanging environment. The operator role is responsible for incident initial assessment and notification to appropriate stakeholders and communication with leadership to ensure an end-to-end incident management process is flawlessly carried out until incident closure. The role will involve working within a motivated team to deliver best-in-class service in Protection & Resilience for global customers that fulfils regulatory and internal requirements.

Requirements

• Possess a degree with major part in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, IT, Political Science or a related field

• Capability or preference to work a non-standard schedule and night hours

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in similar area (e.g. incident handling, threat / risk assessment, resilience, etc.)

• Self-motivated, autonomous, proactive, and customer-centric working style

• Sense of ownership and responsibility for the role as well as ability to take decisions

• Interest in political and security relevant developments on a global level

Key responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day security monitoring and coordinating for global incident handling within shifts that operate 24/7

• Identify and asses possible threats using security monitoring tools and various resources, while working in collaboration with relevant global stakeholders to ensure awareness

• If necessary, performing stakeholder identification, assigning an incident owner, and routing all information of interest to affected expert functions

• Facilitate communication with stakeholders to ensure incident resolution, ensure follow-ups with stakeholders about the incident and subsequent closure

• Perform any cognate duties as may be assigned by the management

Skills

• High fluency in English; additional fluency in multiple languages is highly appreciated

• Excellent communication skills, high level of self-organization, and critical thinking ability

• High comfort level with IT tools

• Computer literacy in MS Office (good knowledge of Excel/Power Point)

• Ability to work under pressure and act with sense of urgency when time is of essence and the situation requires an action with given information at hand

• Well-developed social skills and cross-cultural experience (ability to operate within a global team environment / work within global virtual teams)
