Unique Art Gallery Administrator Position Available!

You don’t need to have worked in the art world before

You do need to be creative, outgoing, tenacious, driven and passionate

You do need have a big love of art, design and all things creative

You do need to have proven results and experience in administration or customer service

You do need to be able to communicate well and present flawlessly

You will work with some of the best quality and exciting original artwork and limited edition prints from Arabia, Africa, Asia and beyond direct from a newly developed gallery space in Dubai.

You will utilise sophisticated administration, marketing and sales technology to deliver the best service in the industry.

The following skills apply:

A highly efficient and capable administrator – organised with excellent attention to detail

Tech-savvy – excellent with IT and administration

Able to use a range of software packages – must be a Mac user and excellent with Microsoft platforms, especially excel/word etc.

A good writer with excellent presentation skills

Absolute commitment to be the best in your field

A quick, ambitious learner with lots of energy

A solution provider, not a problem enhancer

The willingness to go outside of your comfort zone

Culturally aware

Excellent at building and maintaining relationships – a ‘people person’

A Driving License is a must – and willingness to drive a company vehicle for client’s home consultations

Fluency in an additional language will benefit you

Previous experience in the art industry or art-related qualifications will help

Recognition that our company exists to provide a service to Artists and the Arts as a whole, and that this is our baseline measure of success

The Role

Day-to-day Administrative Tasks

Raising invoices

Creating client quotations

Creating supplier LPO’s

Managing gallery inventory system

Creating weekly and monthly sales reports

Email and WhatsApp management

Management of Framing Calendar

Management of Maintenance Requests

Diary management for weekly/quarterly sales meetings, events, team birthdays, and team activities

Placing general gallery orders when required: Day-to-Day F&B, cleaning products, restocking stationary etc.

Driving to client consultations when needed

Remuneration & Expectation

You will be paid AED4-5k per month (subject to experience).

You will be required to work 5 days a week in the gallery, including weekends on rota.

Visa – will be provided.

Learning – full training to be given.

Probation – 6 months in all cases.

Tools – you will be given everything you need to succeed.
