Quality Inspector –

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced quality Inspector for an exciting new opportunity based mainly in the Coventry area of the West Midlands.

The Quality Inspector in this role will join an established quality team and will be responsible for inspection activities on components and assemblies, whilst assisting the quality department on driving through continuous improvement activities.

The Quality Inspector will carry out both visual inspection and dimensional inspection activities to written work instructions and will be responsible for the accurate completion of detailed inspection reporting documentation.

You should have previous visual inspection and dimensional inspection experience, ideally gained within a high-volume automotive first or second tier manufacturing environment and have a proven track record of delivering a robust inspection service.

Applications for this role are welcomed from experienced Quality Inspectors, who can demonstrate previous experience in a similar Quality investigation and continuous improvement role and who are able to produce the relevant documentation and reports on the findings.

Previous experience in a similar Quality Inspector role utilising automotive industry manufacturing standards along with knowledge of common inspection measuring equipment including such as micrometres and vernier callipers would be advantageous.

Candidates must be willing and able to work on a rotating shift basis including morning and afternoon shifts. Candidates must also have a driving licence and their own transportation as they may be required to work at other locations.

In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a basic hourly rate of £8.91 per hour, with premiums for shifts and weekend working.
