Quality Inspector

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced quality Inspector for an exciting new opportunity based in the Coventry area of the West Midlands.

The Quality Inspector in this role will be responsible for visual inspection and dimensional measurement activities on machined components and assemblies, and the subsequent updating of the computerised quality information system with the relevant inspection data.

The Quality Inspector will carry out both visual inspection and dimensional inspection activities to written work instructions and will be responsible for the accurate completion of detailed inspection reporting documentation.

You should have previous visual inspection and dimensional inspection experience, ideally gained within a high-volume manufacturing environment and have a proven track record of delivering a robust inspection service.

The role will involve the handling and moving of components and assemblies, so you should also have previous manual handling experience.

Applications for this role are welcomed from experienced Quality Inspectors, who can demonstrate previous experience in a similar inspection and measurement role, who are computer literate and able to produce the relevant documentation and reports on the findings.

Previous experience of inspection within a high-volume manufacturing environment is desired, as is the ability to communicate at all levels and understand geometric tolerances on mechanical drawings.

In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a basic hourly rate of £10.50 per hour PAYE.
