Barge Supervisor in Tristar Group Soudan du Sud

Responsibilities include:

1. Barge to shore and shore to barge loading and discharge operations.

2. Product quality monitoring during receipt, discharge and transport.

3. Full accountability for the inventory of the cargo from loading to completion of discharge.

4. The safe navigation of the pushers and barges on the river.

5. The proper maintenance and Housekeeping of the pushers and barges.

6. The maintenance and integrity of all loading and discharge equipment on the barges.

7. To maintain and improve the Health and Safety culture and standards in the River Transport.

8. The compliance tocompany HSE policies and standards by all the direct reports/persons working on the pushers and barges at any time.

9. To ensure all new barge/pusher workers has received appropriate induction training special on job training and that all safety aspects are fully understood and that all staff are provided with appropriate PPE at all times.

10. All staff before each transit conduct the required drills and that every person working on board is aware of his responsibilities in case of emergencies.

11. The fuel consumption of the pushers to be within the generic engine consumption limits for power applied.
