Gi Group is the Official Recruiter for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and is looking for a Recruiters to join a newly created team. That team will sit alongside the current onsite resource and will be responsible for the recruitment, onboarding and payroll of circa 300 temporary staff and the onboarding and payroll of a further 250 heads. You will be responsible for the delivery of a recruitment plan, working alongside a team of resourcers as well as coordinating a remote payroll resource.

This is a fixed-term opportunity that will run until August 2022

Responsibilities
Operate within an on-site RPO delivery model; being accountable at all times and available to Hiring Managers for queries and updates.

  • Lead the end-to end temporary recruitment requirements from role intake to offer.
  • Candidate attraction and co-ordination of campaigns to attract the best talent for a diverse & unique stakeholder group.
  • Communicate effectively and timely with applicants or proactively sourced candidates, in screening, interview scheduling, and delivering outcomes.
  • Support the candidate onboarding process alongside the Recruitment Admin Team and HR as a candidate liaison if in need to communicate changes or in times of escalation.
  • Support the candidate throughout their employment as appropriate with the support of the Recruitment Admin Team to manage payroll queries and escalations.
  • Maintain recruitment best practice in all areas of work, prioritising a transparent & objective process.
  • Be an effective relationship partner to Client HR Department in understanding the mechanics of onboarding, the workforce plan, and any other functions relating to the delivery of talent into the business.
  • Assist with any marketing campaigns, including attendance of recruitment events, that are required to promote vacancies & overall attraction.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Previous temporary staffing recruitment experience is essential.
  • Understanding of temporary staffing payroll and experience supporting onboarding in a volume temporary hiring environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing strong client relationships though an end to end recruitment process, maintaining best practice, process and SLAs
  • Experience in utilising Recruitment software (Applicant Tracking System) to manage candidate & Client experience
  • Willingness to seek new and innovative ways to enhance client experience
  • Excellent standard of communication – both written and verbal

Desirable

  • Experience in leading & facilitating volume recruitment campaigns, including talent attraction, running assessment centres, and stakeholder management in this format.
  • Experience in managing large proactive talent pools, focused on engagement and attraction.
  • A strong understanding of Ethnicity, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives & experience in implementing them in recruitment processes.

Start date: ASAP
Salary: £33,000 plus bonus
Contract: Fixed-term contract until August 2022
Location: Five Brindley Place, Birmingham (full time office-based)
