HR Business Partner – Capita Experience

As an HR Business Partner, you will be providing comprehensive and pragmatic operational HR support and solutions to Management Teams within our Energies and Utilities, multi-industry and retail Divisions of Capita Experience, working in line with our Company Values, Company procedures and legal requirements.

Reporting into a Senior HR Business Partner, you will proactively partner and collaborate with Management teams, provide pragmatic and commercially focussed solutions in relation to people issues.

For this role we are looking to see evidence in business partnering, and individuals who can anticipate change and seek to implement initiatives in advance.

Location – we’re still working from home but later in 2022 we are looking to do hybrid working in HR so proximity to our site at Preston Brook (Warrington)or Leeds or even Dearne Valley (near Rotherham) will be required. You’ll manage your own diary and time, and we are flexible in how we work, you’re likely to be in the office 2 to 3 days a week.

Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Proactively helping to deliver an HR Business Partnering service, providing positive challenge to leadership teams on all people matters
  • Developing and executing the people strategy and vision, underpinning business objectives that drive innovation and enable organisational/cultural change
  • Supporting the DPD/Head of HR/SHRBP with organisation design, global succession planning, career/performance management, strategic workforce planning, reward, learning and growth
  • Helping implement effective strategies to enable the organisation to thrive through periods of change e.g. business transformation, organic growth, restructuring, acquisition, divestiture
  • Promoting Capita’s Corporate values and behaviours, increase diversity of thought and lead engagement, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion activities
  • Providing a focus on resource plans, skills development, succession and engagement, contributing to people plans, policy and strategy
  • Helping identify medium-long term resourcing requirements, lead the local annual reward strategy with the specialism and work on local attraction and retention strategy development

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience of operating in a business partner model and an advocate for working collaboratively across the HR community to strengthen reputation and relationships
  • Excellent knowledge of developments and expertise in HR space including technology
  • Demonstrable experience in talent management, capability development, change management and strategy development
  • Personally credible, can provide examples at senior levels /multiple disciplines across the organisation that validate HR expertise and how strategic aims have been met
  • Resilient and able to prioritise, problem solve and work across multiple complex programmes
  • Leads by example by demonstrating the Capita purpose, values, behaviours and code of conduct, whilst understanding the value drivers of the business area
