Would you like to work with cloud architecture, while helping reduce food waste and carbon footprint?
Völur is searching for an experienced cloud infrastructure engineer who can help us develop, scale and operate our SAAS software.
Your main responsibility is to plan and implement our cloud architecture/infrastructure but you will work closely developers, data-scientists, security and operations.
You have long experience managing complex cloud infrastructure, preferably from a product company.
You love working in teams, and would like to contribute building and forming our culture.
The Role
- Help us manage our cloud infrastructure
- Help us evolve our infrastructure as we grow
- Be a part of our planning and development of SecOps
- Contribute on Cloud Security and DevOps
- Work closely with our CTO on planning and execution
- Enjoy a large degree of autonomy and freedom, with a healthy amount of responsibilities
- Have an impact on our development teams, the product, and the organisation
- The position reports to the CTO
This is a full-time position, located in Oslo. While we prefer you to come into the office several days a week, we are open for remote work given the right candidate.
Requirements
- A higher education with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
- 4-6 years experience from setting up and managing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- 3+ years experience with Azure
- Long experience from operations
- 3+ years experience with infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with Docker container orchestration
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (B2+)
Bonus if you have
- Developer Experience
- Relevant Cloud Certifications (especially Azure)
- Experience with Data Ware Housing in general
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience from product development
