This position contributes to Starbucks success by acting as a member of a store design studio. This role provides project management support to a team of store designers including project management and documentation, and system and tools support. This key role enables the studio team to design stores that uphold the Starbucks Customer Experience while meeting cost, schedule, and operational requirements. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

As a design administrator, you will…

  • Manage library and material samples
  • Supports and works with Design Managers to help document designer workflow and project cadence
  • Archive management of the internal file server
  • Assist with first steps of onboarding of new partners
  • Coordinate meetings and visits
  • Own coordination and communications for RVP meetings, partnering with Design Managers to coordinate notes and comments prior to distribution to the team
  • Coordinate design review meeting notes with designers and distribute
  • Running all internal schematic documents for inclusion into design packages
  • Assist with schematic prep package checklists / Smartsheet reports / design team share boards
  • Help provide workload visibility to both week look back and look ahead. Goal is to identify available time to focus on design related tasks that can help with both personal and career development
  • Support Sr Coordinator in preparation for Quarterly Snapshots
  • Own cadence and senior / director sign off of open cafe photos
  • Professional Photography scheduling and support
  • Own, manage and organize consultant contracts and invoices with the cross functional teams
  • Pulling plans & related backup materials for work stream projects and renovation scoping sessions
  • Align with other Regional Admin. and cross functional team members on processes that best support the team

We’d Love To Hear From People With

  • Associates degree (any field of study) or significant professional experience in related field.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • End-user support and training experience
  • Project management
  • Test script development and application testing
  • 1-3 years of experience in architectural design or construction
  • Basic knowledge of architectural design software (Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD, or similar).
