Directure is looking to attract an entry-level professional who possesses a desire to develop and grow through a research position within a life-science focused international advisory firm.
About Directure
Directure is an international advisory firm that addresses the opportunities and challenges of our clients within life science and other regulated industries. Directure comprises of two practices: a people resource practice and a consulting practice.
About the role
The Research Associate will be responsible for the outcome of research activities related to projects in both People Resource and Consulting Practices, as well as in relation to business development. The Research Associate will also be accountable for contributing to the development of internal tools, systems and procedures, to ensure research and analysis functions are assumed efficiently.
The professional will undertake various research tasks independently, as well as working collaboratively with project managers and consultants to achieve the best results for Directure clients.
Typical tasks will include:
- Fundamental research into industry-specific sectors, performing analyses of companies, markets, technologies and other similar areas of focus
- Initiation and deep exploration of particular topics and explain these in a concise manner to internal colleagues
- Preparation of presentations, marketing books, company specifications, organisational information and reports
About you
To exceed as Research Associate, you must be a resilient, driven and disciplined individual with a desire to work in a performance-driven environment with a focus on learning and the exchange of knowledge.
You typically hold the following prerequisites:
- Relevant university degree – within natural science and/or business-related disciplines
- Up to 3 years experience from research-related positions within a professional services firm or life science organisation
- Strong interest in the life science industry and combining natural sciences with business
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to explain complex topics in a concise manner, both verbally and in writing
- A sincere understanding of integrity and confidentiality
- Solid Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Full proficiency in spoken and written English
