Here within our Asylum Accommodation and Support Contract an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to join our team.
AASC offers a range of services, with particular focus on managing property and assisting individuals through the asylum application system.
As a key member of the AASC Support Team, the Product Manager is responsible for ensuring the AASC internal business process management software (an Appian based product) can achieve business goals through using Agile methodology. Working collaboratively with SME’s on the AASC contract and wider, the product manager will define requirements, manage the governance and support the Agile development process ensuring all development and changes are prioritised and aligned to the AASC contract vision and roadmap.
They are the advocate for change, understand the business process and represent the AASC contract in all aspects Aora development and change. Contract and customer focused they support the development of the AASC Product roadmap with Contract Director to ensure development adds value and provides a Return on Investment.
The individual will work cross functionally representing the AASC contract with ITS where required to managing governance, giving priority to new features and stories, driving the Business Acceptance testing, responsible for release communications and coordinating with the Agile Team to represent the AASC contracts interests.

What you need to do the job:
It is essential you have excellent stakeholder management skills with evidence of engaging staff and driving development projects. It is useful if you have some experience of the AASC contract with understanding of each function within the business. You must have proven communication skills and be an influencer. A strong knowledge of IT software development is preferred.
The successful applicant will need Security Clearance at CTC level (Counter Terrorism Check) and DBS clearance required (Serco Civil Government is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and all offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office.
