To strengthen our teams at Dornier Construction and Service SRL in Constanta (Romania), we are looking for a dedicated and flexible

HSE Officer (m/w/d)

Where your expertise is needed:

Supporting the implementation and monitoring of the Company’s HSEQ management system as per ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, and constantly informing the HSEQ Coordinator about any required actions for improvement
Ensuring that compliance with applicable HSE legislation and regulations in force is achieved on working sites
Providing guidance and information to the employees on matters of HSEQ legislation and regulations; ensuring that safety policies and procedures are well implemented, understood, and adhered to at work locations, in order to ensure a safe working environment
Carrying out trainings and Toolbox Talks to personnel on working sites
Ensuring that correct Personal Protective Equipment, as well as any other work-related equipment and materials, are always purchased, stored, inspected, and used as per the applicable standards and requirements by the designated users
Travelling to project sites to assess and/or implement behavioral based HSEQ
Ensuring that all non-conformities, incidents, accidents, and hazardous occurrences are reported in a timely manner and the related corrective actions and improvement initiatives are always taken in due time following such occurrences
Preparing reports and overviews on related HSEQ topics; such reports shall be submitted to the HSEQ Coordinator, Company’s Management and/or client’s representatives, on request
Building up working relationships with client and/or third party HSEQ professionals and advisors

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in a similar position with similar duties and responsibilities
Good experience with HSEQ systems
Good experience with handling Personal Protective Equipment
Good understanding of other work-related tools, equipment, and machinery
Good mastering of MS Office suite applications, including preparation of documents and reports
Good communication skills in both Romanian and English
Good experience with operational projects, preferably with wind turbines installation and/or wind turbines operation, maintenance, and service
Certifications for quality, health and safety, risk assessment
Driver’s license category B
Being analytical, problem-solving, proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and development on both professional and personal levels
