Job Description
Job Title: Driver
Reports to : Administrator General Services, HR
Position Summary: Perform and maintain companies’ business road trips as planned and specified meanwhile ensuring that the company transportation fleets are preserved as required referring back to government regulations and QHSE standards and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
- Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
- Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
- Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
- Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
- Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations.
- Read maps, and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
- Follow up company QHSE driving standards and procedures.
- Participate in materials deliveries for purchases and repairs across the UAE boarder.
- Be familiar with UAE customs and clearness material regulations.
- Comply with the company journey plan procedures.
- Airport Pickup & Drop arrangement of Employees and Visitors
- Delivery and Collect official company letters from Banks, Postal Officer and with clients
Required Education
- Ability to read, writes, speak and understand basic English.
- 3 years of related driving practices.
- High school graduate

- To take responsible care for the health and safety of themselves and other persons who may be affected by their acts, or omissions at work
- To cooperate with employer in assisting them to fulfil statuary duties
- Not to interfere with deliberate or misuse anything provided in accordance with health and safety legislation, to further health and safety at work.
- Understand the requirements set by the Company’s QHSE policy and comply with it activities.
- Provide a high standard of personal example of HSE.
- Reporting unsafe acts, conditions within the work though LPT/IMT Observation Card.

Standard requirements: Bending, squatting, climbing, twisting and reaching will all be used occasionally in this position.
Must be able to communicate and respond to coworkers, customer, vendors, suppliers and emergency cues/alarms, in person and on the telephone, including use of mobile devices
Must wear all required PPE, including fire-retardant clothing, helmets, face shields, hearing protection, safety goggles, steel-toed boots, as applicable
