This role will be in charge of executing talent acquisition strategies for East-West Seed that are aligned with the business direction, as well as driving the seamless execution of such strategies across countries in close collaboration with HR business partners. The incumbent executes the full recruitment life cycle for a variety of roles in the IHQ and assists countries in sourcing strategic hires (leadership and critical positions). He/she executes the group strategy and initiatives for building and enhancing the East-West Seed EVP and employer branding, in collaboration with the Group TA manager, to increase our attractiveness as a preferred employer among our target candidates.
Roles and Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Handles the end to end talent acquisition process for IHQ open roles ; conducts sourcing, job advertisement posting (internal/external), screening, interview management , oversees the setting up and coordination of online assessment requirements for candidates, reference checks , closing of hiring. Provides an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from the application stage to offer
- Partners closely with HR business partners at countries, the IHQ and the hiring managers for strategic positions (leadership and critical positions) to identify and execute sourcing/hiring strategies specific to their hiring needs.
- Provides advice and recommendations on how to manage hiring challenges as needed
- Implements the talent acquisition processes and tools for EWS (example, talent bank system, interview tools and/or any future tool) , ensuring that these processes/tools are consistently applied and utilized across all countries; trains HR business partners and managers to facilitate adherence to the process and efficient use of the provided tools
- Assesses and maintains a list of reputable and reliable recruiters whose services may be tapped to support EWS hiring requirements; manages the vendor accreditation and negotiation of fees, terms and conditions; guides HR business partners in selecting recruiters for their country specific requirements
- Drives the candidate experience management ; designs and manages the experience survey to identify opportunities for improvement based on candidate feedback
EVP and Employer Branding
- Contributes ideas for developing strategic initiatives and executes the EVP and employer branding in the aspect of talent acquisition
- Works closely with Group Communications team in translating the EVP and employer branding in creative materials for talent acquisition use
- Manages the EWS careers page in the official website and LinkedIn page more attractive to external audience
Data Analytics and Reports Management
- Manages the information system for talent acquisition (example, TA tracker) where he/she can generate the metrics to measure and assess EWS’ effectiveness in TA against agreed KPIs or standards
- Serves as the custodian of the EWS talent bank system for pre-screened / pre-qualified candidates where HR business partners can go to for initial sourcing of candidates
- Provides data and/or report as may be required by the business
Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience , Skills)
- University degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition
- Fluent in English
- Experience in using talent acquisition tools and assessment tools is a definite advantage
