Job Purpose

Reporting to the Senior Manager IT – the purpose of the role is to present critical data from diverse sources as one constant, reliable source for verified, real-time information. This role will support all in-scope ERP projects and operational support across the EKFC Landscape.

Key Accountabilities

• Capture data requirements related to business processes, ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency of master data across business systems, and provide reports and recommendations regarding the quality of master data to ensure that the data produced meets all the requirements and expected uniqueness of data and analyse it for reusability.
• Support the development and implementation of an Enterprise Data Management Strategy for effective data management that minimizes data movement, helps uncover performance breakdowns, and enables users to have all the necessary information a click away.
• Align and coordinate efforts between enterprise and business master data initiatives to identify sensitive datasets, audit the entire enterprise, and determine what needs to be protected.
• Identify master data-related issues, gaps, and inconsistencies between systems and processes related to data, including adoption-related challenges, by ensuring records cannot be created unless all essential information is included while setting up systems to exclude incomplete entries to ensure access to and integrity of data sets.
• Develop and implement strategies to act on the root cause of local data issues to identify and prevent recurrence of data issues.
• Support in creating a site-specific standardised way of working to secure that the output complies with the data quality that the Business needs to reduce variability by collecting and documenting variations and issues, help people by adapting training programs, and continuously improve the standards
• Ensure that master data in scope is appropriately managed by the Business and supported by IT/Digitalization applications in collaboration with the business / IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operation of the application to meet all requirements and seamless integration between different systems.
• Coordinate material master data setup, validations, and periodic maintenance to make sure that the information is up-to-date and accurate.
• Collaborate with Businesses on how data, mass updates, and reporting needs can be used to improve business activities and make intelligent business decisions based on data-driven insight.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar role within master data
• Experience with ERP systems

Work Experience:

• Experience with setting up and working with workflow tools and process automation tools;
• Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel and/or other reporting tools (e.g., Power BI);
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Data migration using ETL tools
