Job Description

As our Teams are growing, we are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to provide the assigned region with support across management and general accounting, financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and the conversion of data into management information.

What you’ll be doing?

Support month/year end close activities ensuring financial data is accurate and in line with Experian’s accounting policies and IFRS and compliance with all local regulatory and statutory requirements
Be responsible for selected balance sheet accounts and providing detailed, complete and informative balance sheet reconciliations/analysis
Support the MMC (forecast) process for a respective area
Provide pre-defined (monthly, quarterly and annual) and ad hoc management information reports with accurate views of its financial performance and insight/commentary as necessary. Scrutiny and alignment of data from a variety of sources to ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting
Support in the development and control of the annual operating budget within the asigned region / area, aiming to ensure that all financial targets are met and that financial and statutory obligations are complied with.
Contributing to the optimisation of current processes and demonstrating continuous improvement mindset
Work within and support the framework of policies, procedures and standards which supports the delivery of accountabilitiesesponsibilities.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring?

University degree in Economics, Finance and Accounting
1-2 year of experience of general financial accounting in a multi-national business environment in accordance with IFRS
Good understanding of financial management information
Ability to be proactive and work independently, with the skill to adapt and drive change where necessary
Technical accounting skills and proficiency with Excel
Knowledge of systems such as Oracle, Hyperion and OBIEE will be considered as advantage
Highly logical, numerate individual with an unfaltering attention to detail
Fluency in English
