Position Title: Finance Manager – Gambia
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 3K USD all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications plus benefits
Job Location: Gambia, West Africa
About the Client:
An international shipping vessel agency servicing Africa and Europe, based in Gambia, West Africa
Job Role:
- Oversee all finance operations and ensure accurate and timely financial closing and preparation of financial and management reports
- Review all financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations
- Budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to improve company’s financial business performance
- Liaise with auditors and tax agents within assigned territory to develop and implement financial policies and improve internal control
- Credit control, review and assessment of credit risks and bad debts.
Requirements:
- 30 to 45 years old and below
- Degree or diploma in related field is an advantage
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role from a vessel agency / shipping logistics is a must
- Open to overseas candidates
- Must be willing to work in Gambia, West Africa
