As part of the Cloud Operations team, SysOps Engineers:

Provide technical application, platform and infrastructure support
Contribute to providing risk free continuation of services
Help enforce the change management process following an ITIL delivery style
Keep all documentation updated and ensure configuration management items are properly maintained and secured, and develop & maintain runbooks and technical wikis
Ensure consistency across environments and proactively reduce drift where identified
Maintain and enhance automation to deliver repeatability and consistency in system builds and updates
Ensure systems meet the security standards and follow GDPR and ISO27000 security and data protection practices
Act as part of a wider resolver team for incident resolution
Ensure high availability of systems and evidence with regular fail-over DR tests
Participate in the 24 x 7 support rota
Support Problem Management in identifying and resolving systemic issues and contribute to reducing support burden
Support Project Teams with on-time, on-budget delivery
