Job Description
GDIT has an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician – Firefinder Radar FSR in Poland supporting the 405th AFSB. This position requires someone with a current and active Secret clearance. This position also requires HOST NATIONS SOFA Accreditation. This is an Unaccompanied position.
As the selected Electronics Technician , you will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
Requirements
- The Radar Electronics Technician Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of Radar Equipment, Systems and Platforms; circuitry components; analog and digital systems; and control and test equipment in support of the AN/TPQ 36 and 37 Firefinder Radar System
- Conduct Sensor Alignment IAW Military Technical manuals and PMCS.
- Must have experience on Radar operation, troubleshooting, repairs and replacement down to the component level
- Operate automated test equipment such as O-Scopes, Powermeters, Spectrum Analyzers, and Multimeters.
- Compile, Process and analyze Test Data
- Produce and implement Field and Sustainment level support
- Be familiar with establishing a connection of power generation associated with the Radar.
- Experience with Phase Array and Counter-fire Radar Systems.
- 25% Travel will be Require to Other European Countries
Employee is required to performed other additional duties in support the Contract.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety Shoes must be worn on work-site.
Employee is require to purchase the PPE and Safety Shoes.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship Required
- HOST NATIONS SOFA Accreditation.
- 4 years of recent specialized experience
- Military Experience Radar systems
- Must have a current and active Secret clearance
- Unaccompanied Position
