Five Education is looking for a teaching assistant to work in a primary school in the GL1 area of Gloucester, commencing on the 5th of December 2022. We are looking for someone who can work five days a week from 8:30-3:30. This role largely involves working with small groups of key stage two students supporting their English and numerical abilities. This role is situated in the GL1 area with good transport connections for those commuting from outside Gloucester. This role is offering a salary of £80-85 per day (inc holiday pay).

Responsibilities And Duties

Supporting students in a classroom

Assisting students in their work

Working in small groups with students

Supporting students’ English and Numerical skills

Implementing behavior management tools

Providing a positive role model for young people

Essential Criteria

A flexible and resourceful approach

You will be able to demonstrate positive reinforcement

Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)

Two recent child-based references and relevant DBS/ Police checks

Access to bicycle, car, or nearby public transport.

Able to work 8.30-3.30, 5 days per week term time only
