Job Summary

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for updating monthly forecasts with actual results and supporting the Senior Finance Analyst with the re-forecast. They will also update various models that contribute to Board meetings and investor packs.

Additionally they will be involved in cost analysis to help the business understand it’s cost base and drive towards a recognize cost per product.

Responsibilities

Update revenue reports and actualise the monthly Excel forecast.
Actualise the forecast model with supplier costs, categorise the costs, and review.
Identify variances to forecast and provide commentary.
Identify revenue variances for Flash Revenue reporting.
Contribute to the monthly Board pack through updating models and producing slides to tight deadlines.
Create departmental performance insight for Senior Finance Analyst’s review with C-Level executives to ensure plans are clear and the impact of additional spend is understood.
Implement and produce monthly cost analysis allowing Finance to challenge the business on its activity.
Produce ad-hoc analysis to support the wider business

Skills, Ability And Experience

Netsuite Planning and Budgeting knowledge advantageous
Advanced Excel (pivot-tables, lookups) and PowerPoint skills, Power BI advantageous
Attention to accuracy and an ability to review detailed work
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Organized and able to manage your time to deal with competing priorities
Have a positive and approachable attitude
Disciplined and able to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines
Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
