Supplier Compliance Coordinator – Bedford

This role will monitor and mitigate against supplier non-compliances that result in deliveries being routed to the Quarantine area at Lotus’ third-party warehouse. The challenge for this person is to reduce disruption to the booking in process as much as possible, whilst supporting any supplier or process improvement activity that may be required.

The role will also act as Lotus’ remote Supply Chain representative on site.

Role Objectives:

  • The monitoring of supplier non-compliance as part of the goods receipting process, specifically in relation to logistics and packaging.
  • Analysing non-compliance data and providing regular reporting updates to the business relating to supplier compliance.
  • Directly or indirectly supporting the mitigation of supplier non-compliances in a timely manner, especially those that result in received goods being routed to quarantine.
  • Escalating compliance issues that cannot be resolved locally as appropriate.
  • Supporting the Supplier Development Engineers in addressing any supplier or process related issues which might impact the smooth functioning of the goods receipting process
  • Providing logistics support to the on-site SQA team.

Scope of role:

This role will work closely with the rest of the Supplier Risk & Development team to ensure that the department’s remit and objectives are met, specifically those that relate to logistics and packaging compliance.

Essential –

  • GCSE in Maths & English
  • Good verbal and written English skills
  • Competent in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable –

  • Working knowledge of SAP/SRM beneficial
  • Previous logistics compliance experience.

The candidate would ideally live within 30 minutes’ drive of Bedford.
