<!--> HISTORIC ENGLAND Summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Heritage at Risk Project Officer to join our team here at Historic England. The Heritage at Risk Projects Officer will provide expert advice on the planning, funding and delivery of heritage at risk projects across the range of asset types in the South West Region What You Will Be Doing. Applying the ethos of `constructive conservation` you will work closely with owners, local authorities and with partner agencies to negotiate effective projects, identify funding and facilitate consents. The role is responsible for reporting on project progress, updating the Heritage at Risk Register, and contributing to associated administration and public promotion of Heritage at risk cases and themes. What We Are Looking For

Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
Excellent understanding of relevant Government policy, guidance and statutory procedures
Extensive experience of Project Management
Excellent written communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Delivery focused, able to work to tight deadlines
Extensive experience of involvement in heritage/the management of the historic environment
