We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistants who has a passion for working in a school environment with proven experience of working within an educational setting. Your new role This Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be to support SEN students within the school. Specifically with Phonics and using Ruth Miskin Phonics. You will be supporting Secondary age students who are at a lower ability level. You will be expected to plan and deliver activities to help support them in their learning and development. This position is to start ideally on Monday 25th April, it will be Monday - Friday 8:30 - 3:30 pm and will run up until at least May. What You'll Need To Succeed n order to succeed in this role you will need to have HLTA status with a Teaching Assistant Qualification. You will also need proven experience within the last 2 years with strong classroom management skills. You will have a flexible adaptable and positive approach and outlook towards work. You will have experience working with phonics specifically the Ruth Miskin model and ideally a qualification in this.
