Your new role
The council are seeking to recruit Revenues Officers (x3 ) to join the Council Tax, Recovery and Non-Domestic Rates team on a full time, fixed term contract basis (1 year ). The Revenues Officer will deal with the day-to-day administration, billing, collection and recovery of local taxation and miscellaneous income owed to the Council. The department receives a high volume of telephone calls which the Revenues Officers are required to deal with. Due to the nature of the work some calls can be challenging at times, therefore it is essential that you have a strong background in delivering excellent customer service in a pressured environment.
