About the job
As part of thisHedge Fund’s London based team, the successful FPGA Engineer will interact with quantitative researchers, traders and software engineers. They will also be responsible for;
- Developing high performance FPGA systems in RTL designs
- Developing and implementing proprietary low latency, high throughput FPGA based trading systems to accelerate trade signal generation and order execution
- Accelerating network infrastructure
In order to be considered for this position, you will need the following experience;
- 2 years’ experience of the complete FPGA design lifecycle including hardware architecture, RTL coding, simulation, system integration, hardware validation, verification module design and testing
- Experience of System Verilog, Verilog or VHDL
- Strong knowledge of either Altera or Xilinx
- Experience of network protocols, and packet based data processing
- Previous financial services experience is not required for this role
