A number of exciting vacancy opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are interested in developing their Critical Care skills.

The purpose built Critical Care Unit in Bronglais General Hospital is looking for a Band 5 Nurses. Various full time and part time hours are available with day and night rotation.

Successful applicants will be fully supported whilst gaining experience in the care of critically ill patients undergoing a variety of critical care interventions. Following orientation and completion of relevant competencies, staff will have the opportunity to access university based post-graduate course.

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate some knowledge of Critical Care Nursing, but this is not essential and have a willingness to develop their skills further, playing an integral part in integrating critical care across Bronglais.

The applicants should be able to demonstrate the use of evidence based practice and be proactive in managing change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, together with a readiness to innovate and develop nursing within a team approach.

Welsh language is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh applicants are welcome to apply.
