An exciting development opportunity has arisen within the Dermatology Team in Glangwili general Hospital for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who would like to further develop their clinical skills and promote effective quality of care to patients with dermatological conditions.
The post is for a part time Staff Nurse within the Dermatology service(24 hours per week) on a permanent basis.
The post holder will assist the Dermatology team in the delivery of Dermatological treatments and care. The post holder will deliver treatments such as phototherapy and patch testing. They will undertake basic assessments of disease and report findings to the CNS or medical team for the management of skin diseases.
You will work as an integral member of the wider multi-disciplinary team to promote clinical and cost effective care. Potential candidates must have good communication skills. The successful candidate must be able to use their own initiative, but be able to work well as part of a team and know when to seek advice.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
