We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurses to join our Trauma Orthopaedic unit in Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen, looking after acute trauma patients. The unit also offers the opportunity to develop elective orthopaedic skills.

Teifi is a 30 bed ward which looks after patients with a variety of trauma orthopaedic injuries and conditions who are admitted as emergency cases or as repatriations from other areas within Hywel Dda University Health Board as well as hospitals across the UK and abroad.

The successful applicant must have an interest in trauma, have excellent communication skills and work well in a multi-disciplinary team.

This will provide an excellent opportunity for a nurse at the start of their career or a nurse looking for career development.

Teifi can offer learning and development opportunities and mentorship/preceptorship will be provided.

Teifi aims to give high quality care to their patients and the successful applicant must be committed to service improvement within the ward.

The successful candidate will be expected to work day/night rotation.

Full and part time posts are available.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
