Jacobs Nuclear provides the front-end design and engineering capability across the PPP portfolio. We are currently looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our teamm on the Complex Laboratory RAP project based in Birchwood. The project is in preliminary Design stage with expected delivery in 2029.
Key Responsibilities include
- Good working knowledge of Building Regulations.
- Good level of proficiency on Autodesk’s Revit.
- Site experience and willingness to travel to site (when project is onsite)
- Good level of technical detailing and specification writing.
- Checking/ Verification of Technical Deliverables (RIBA Stages noted)
- Able to work on own initiative and to deadlines
- Collaborative working style (team working)
- Clash detection & able to use Navisworks
- Experience of complex building projects
- Desirable – 4D construction planning (use of Synchro)
Here’s What You’ll Need
Extensive experience delivering projects to UK Building Regulations & British Standards
Proven track record in the delivery of architectural detail design
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, liaising directly with clients and other design team members
Minimum HNC / HND in an Architecture Based subject
Experience of the condition assessment and modification of existing facilities
