A world-leading commodity trading firm are searching for a Desktop Support / Service Desk Manager to join their team. This is a replacement hire for the previous manager who has moved on to a new challenge after spending 10 years in the role. During their tenure they took on a diversity of responsibilities which has expanded the role to include everything under the end user, customer experience , and leading various projects. Therefore this role would be very well suited to candidates who have not been siloed in their current roles.

Whilst you lead a team of 10 who support 400-500 users you will be expected to maxmise the user experience by looking to simplify processes so the rate of first touch resolution is improved. You will also look to encourage automation of menial tasks within to free up spare time for your team.

Requirements

• Good leadership / people management skills
• Desktop Support / Service Desk Management Experience
• Demonstrated job commitment through job tenure
• Diverse skillset / experience (not siloed)
• Good understanding of processes i.e. ITIL
• Preference to Financial Services experience
