Kuwaiti Danish Dairy Company is a leading producer of quality food products in the Gulf region and is based in Kuwait.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Systems Lead who will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the company QMS system, managing all aspects of the KDD auditing program and developing the auditing team.

This is a hands-on role, so we are looking for an individual with good operational experience, a track record of delivering the departmental targets and KPI’s whilst working with different teams across an organization to develop the company quality systems.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Create, update, and implement audit templates within the company’s systems.
Produce timely and accurate audit reports in accordance with company systems and requirements and submit within agreed business KPI’s.
Carry out both physical and remote according to specified standards and agreements.
Conduct yearly allocated audits of suppliers of raw ingredients/packaging materials and co- packers as per the annual supplier audit plan.
Develop and mentor a multi-departmental team of auditors in line with standards and company policies.
Ensure maximum utilization of the company online auditing system.
Participate in aligning factories with FSMS by practical implementations of policies and procedures and communicating with other departments to improve their systems and processes.
Participate and support the audit process of the company in the maintenance of certifications and standards.
Communicate adequately to the business on performance of audit systems and the results of the audits by means of comprehensive reports for each audit, inclusive of follow up actions
Provide support to compliance to the company’s Health & Safety and Environmental program.
Take personal responsibility to build relationships and provide constructive feedback on customer subjects
Plan and improve the workplace standards for such as costs, wastage, profits, service, competitor’s behavior.

Qualification:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science and Technology, or related field Must have a theoretical and/or practical experience Quality Assurance and auditing.

Specialized Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Dairy Management Demonstrated experience in working across department and companies at senior professional levels

Lead auditor qualification and experience

HACCP qualification and implementation experience

Product background will ideally cover multiple categories (i.e., bakery, dairy, desserts, fruit, and vegetable juices, etc.) and associated packaging.

Flexibility to travel on occasion

Product background will ideally cover multiple categories (i.e., bakery, dairy, desserts, fruit, and vegetable juices, etc.) and associated packaging.

Preferred Language: English is a must; Arabic is a plus

Skills Required:

Ability to effectively communicate across the departments.
Ability to act prudent under pressure.
Swift decision-making skills.
MS Office & Audit Applications.
Knowledge of Oracle will be an advantage.
Flexibility to travel on occasion
