Job Description

The “Business Support Assistant” is responsible for all transactions associated with the dynamic elements of the Order to Cash process, whilst ensuring commissioned hours match hours delivered and paid to staff members.

Working as part of a virtual team with the Group Billing and Credit Control teams to ensure invoicing is complete, accurate and delivered in a timely and professional manner.

Role Responsibilities

  • Set up New Service User Profiles
  • Generate suggested billing reports in ColdHarbour
  • Monitor the effective transition of Rotas
  • Proactively working with colleagues in Billing, Credit Control, Management Accounts
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to the Office Manager/RBSM
  • Assist with payroll run
  • Unpick and resolve complex Aged Debt Queries and
  • Ensure all Billing related queries are dealt with swiftly and accurately
  • Ad hoc projects as requested

Technical/Professional Qualifications/Experience Requirements

  • Good level of education. GCSE minimum Grade B Maths and English
  • Proficient in IT skills, including all Microsoft Office systems, in particular intermediate Excel capability Proven track record of good interpersonal skills and relationship building and works well within a team
  • Basic understanding of accounts (AAT qualified/part qualified preferred)
  • Delivery Focused
  • Accurate and “right first time” approach, attention to detail
