We currently require a suitably qualified person to join the team of Sonographers in our busy Ultrasound department. The service is located within Radiology at Glangwili General Hospital in Carmarthen. We perform a wide range of Ultrasound investigations.
Applicants must be a Registered Healthcare Professional with an appropriate post graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound and evidence of relevant experience. There may be a requirement to work flexible hours to meet service demands.
You must possess excellent communication/organisational skills, be tactful, diplomatic and able to work alone and as part of a team in this busy department. In addition you may be involved in the supervision of student radiographers.
Glangwili Hospital is the main healthcare provider for the population of Carmarthenshire, providing a wide range of clinical and Accident / Emergency services.
