Psychological Wellbeing Support Worker (New Leaf) – Part-time – £10.25 per hour
New Leaf is part of the Building Better Opportunities Programme and is funded by the by European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund. It is an innovative project, targeting individuals furthest away from the labour market in the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) area, to help them in their journey towards employment. Led by Warrington-based Torus Foundation, working in partnership with other organisations across the area, New Leaf will support 4,200 individuals, providing a tailored service, giving individual support and direction.
We are looking to recruit Psychological Wellbeing Support Worker to join our CCBT team, offering a competitive salary of £10.25 per hour. The role is fixed term until April 2023.
As an employee of Making Space you will help to provide services in the heart of local communities, in the comfort of people’s own homes, and specialist care and support services. This position is funded through Building Better Opportunities – New Leaf Project by the Big Lottery and the European Social Fund.
The role will be based at 46 Allen Street, Warrington, WA2 7JB. However, there will be home working involved as well as assigned face-to-face clinics across the Cheshire area (West, East and Warrington including Crewe, Knutsford, Chester, Winsford, etc).
Principle accountabilities are to provide support and assist New Leaf services users to maximise their independence as part of a structured programme of care. Maintain accurate and up to date record keeping and reports and carry out assessments to determine appropriate help following the services protocols for best practice on delivery and management. You will support service users through a computerised CBT Package and assess their suitability for the programme, providing a signpostingeferral on function if it is not suitable.
