Manual Tester – Birmingham, West Midlands – Hybrid role 2 days a week in the office 2 days a week in the office Manual testing This advanced organisation based in Birmingham are looking for a Manual Tester to join the development team of Business Analysts, Developers and Project Managers, where you will be responsible for performing and supporting system and Manual testing out of their Birmingham office. There will be the opportunity to gain Automation Testing experience. Key Responsibilities for this Tester role: Experience of Desktop application testing
Experience of SQL
Design, develop, execute and maintain automated and manual test scripts. Create and maintain realistic test plans, scenarios, test cases and technical areas and maximise testing time available Running tests for functionality, usability and performance. Record test runs, communicate and document discrepancies encountered during testing, investigating errors and reporting software bugs Supporting users in User Acceptance Testing. Knowledge of Test Management tools such
The successful Tester / Test Analyst / QA Analyst will have previous experience of software testing and software development.
You will possess excellent written and verbal skills, together with being self-organised and methodical with your approach to work.
Other desirable skills include:
development / programming background preferably with knowledge of C# or Java and preferably if you are ISTQB certified or working towards it.
