Mark Allen is a successful media company and we are recruiting a HR Manager to join our amazing team.
This is a hybrid role that comes with a salary of up to £45,000 plus some excellent benefits.
To give you an idea of how this HR Manager role would look and feel, here are some of the things you can expect:
A team that is very supportive, friendly, and always open to a good discussion on all HR and recruitment-related topics! You will be predominately based in the London office but may need to travel to our other offices in the South of England.
We are a company of circa 450 people so it’s busy. We are constantly evolving and would love someone who embraces a fast-paced environment.
You will have the support of our HR Coordinator and work alongside our Internal Recruitment Manager. You’ll report to our HR Director. You’ll join a really knowledgeable team, who know lots about the media sector, if you do have experience in publishing and events then that would be great.
You’d be amazing in this role if you are:
- A HR Generalist with experience across all related functions
- CIPD qualified, but relevant experience is more valued over qualifications
- Experienced in managing the development of HR people
- You strive for personal excellence and for the team
- You’re assertive, open to discussion, and able to build effective relationships at all levels
- True business partner, interested in being more than HR
- B2B media experience is desirable, although not essential.
- Multi-site experience
- Experience in integrating and building out HR and payroll systems

Flexible working (hybrid – home, and min 2 days in the Herne Hill, London office but you will visit our Dartford, Sutton, Dinton, and Guildford offices from time to time)
