We have an exciting opportunity in a leading fashion retailer, for an experienced HR Manager.

HR is evolving in this organisation which means there is some great project work to get involved in, allowing you to build your own HR experiences and develop your own HR career. If you have the right attitude and foundations in HR you will be very successful supporting on all areas of talent management including development, driving performance and building people capability.

  • Responsible for recruitment and selection of all store and Head Office middle management roles.
  • Ensuring that all policies and procedures are legally compliant and up to date, keeping up to speed with all legislative changes and bringing forth recommendations to the business.
  • Develop training content and work with key stake holders in creating and delivering modules that meet current business needs, including development and refining e-learning initiatives.
  • Provide coaching to Managers.
  • Performance management.
  • Analysis and interpretation of HR data to provide sound recommendations to the business based on trends.
  • Working with the business to effectively manage change through strong project and communication plans and understanding the people impacts.
  • Management of Employee Relations, including supporting Head of HR with complex investigations.
  • Supporting with the successful implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the apprenticeship scheme for retail employees.
  • Identify, develop and implement people initiatives to improve employee productivity, well-being and engagement.


  • Strong HR generalist experience from the Retail sector or multi site bsuienss would be ideal.
  • CIPD or equivalent.
  • Experience in writing and delivering training to a wide audience to address the needs of the business.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of employment law and ability to provide practical interpretations of legal compliance.
  • Experience in writing and/or contributing to the creation or amendment of policies, contract of employment, procedures manuals and employee handbooks.
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills and be highly organised.
