That’s something we’re extremely proud of and which we’re looking for our next Associate Director to continue to drive.

Off the back of the great work we’ve been doing at all levels (spanning from regional partnerships with Vice, launching the latest Cardi B collections, and through to local partnerships with The Gay Times), we’ve cemented ourselves as a key strategic partner not just at a regional level, but at a local and a global level where we input into all aspects of their strategic development.

In our Associate Director, we’re looking for someone who can help deliver on that vision.

The Role:

Working within the EU central team in London, the focus of the Associate Director is to lead regional client management, integrated media planning, and co-ordination across the region. You will be the ‘go to’ contact for the client, and lead the team responsible for interaction and liaison between clients and Europe Hub and local teams.

The role requires working with a client team made up of a range of key disciplines that help us deliver a top-class service to Reebok: Account Management, Strategic Comms Planning, Paid Social, eCom, Paid Search, Programmatic, Digital, Business Science, Consumer Insight, MediaCom Beyond Advertising (content), and multi market Investment. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the WE hub, local markets and working as part of an integrated agency team.

The Primary roles are:

To work closely with the Regional Account Director on delivering the following:

– Managing client alignment on team priorities and workstreams.

– Building and leading strong relationships with both the client and wider teams

– Developing and implementing smooth processes for/with regional account team, hub teams, finance teams, local markets.

– Motivate and enable account team to ensure smooth delivery of workstreams to a high quality to deadline, including monitoring in campaign performance & post campaign analysis and reporting

– Lead Strategic planning – alongside the strategic associate director, create and deliver strategic guidance and integrated media and communications solutions to meet strategic business targets

– Present deliverables for client sell/in and approval, and support the regional account director in the delivery of commercial proposals

– Overseeing the development of seasonal planning, forecasting and playbook delivery by Media Manager and Senior Planner follow comms strategy handovers. Ensure the team are championing uptake of Playbook processes & adherence to audience guidance and development in central and local planning

– Support the Media Manager and Senior Planner in the running of weekly client statuses, and oversee weekly network/hub meetings

– Continually driving learning within the account team about better planning and rigorous measurement frameworks

– Promote innovative media solutions in line with the evolving media landscape – advocating the importance of Digital & Innovation.

– Recommend communication initiatives with strategic partners and media owners that can be implemented on a Regional / local level holistic level. Liase with global team about opportunities to leverage global strategic partners.

– Drive migration to Regional systems such as reporting tools (example: Global media spend tracking tool).

– Lead the time in analysing data to take findings and translate into insights for season business reviews and case studies to facilitate knowledge sharing/ share with local markets

– Oversee regional support for global reporting requests

  • Strong analytical thinker, with strategic skills
  • Strong PowerPoint & Excel skills
  • Good Attention to Detail
  • Ability to present to senior clients
  • Ability to work with ambiguity
  • Good at handling data and extracting learnings
  • International experience not essential, but helpful
  • Regional / European retail client experience would be ideal
  • Network experience – working with large virtual teams
