The Role

The PMO Analyst supports a Head of Change Delivery and works with 6-12 project managers to develop and manage an appropriate control and reporting framework. You will be aligned to large programmes or portfolios with 15-25 projects and/or significant workstreams

This role will consist of hybrid working with a mixture of office and homebased working.

  • Works within established frameworks and procedures, with the freedom to interpret them to solve a range of problems
  • Delivers outputs that are clearly defined, using discretion over how to achieve them
  • Makes suggestions for improvements to the work of the team, based on previous experience and knowledge of similar situations

Key Accountabilities For The Role

  • To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G’s operational risk.
  • Experience of monitoring and reporting in a project environment
  • Experience of delivery through a full project lifecycle
  • Experience of managing stakeholders across a range of business areas
  • Experience of project governance and producing quality project documentation to meet governance standards

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Working knowledge of JIRA / Confluence, XL, PPM tools
  • Working knowledge of life and pensions products, markets and competitors
  • Working knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislatory frameworks
  • Understanding of the statements of principle and code of practice
  • Working knowledge of risk management principles and their impacts on projects
  • Working knowledge of project methodologies, planning processes and techniques
  • Working knowledge of M & G products, systems and distribution methods
  • Working knowledge of business analysis techniques
