Join us as a Partnerships Management & Oversight Manager

  • We’re looking for someone to help formalise the way that we identify, assess, and make decisions around selecting and maintaining strategic partnership opportunities
  • Your daily duties will include you working with a range of stakeholders to make a difference to the partnership roadmap and the decision making process around selection
  • This is your opportunity to be valued for your input into the Commercial Bank’s evolving partnerships strategy to grow our business and support our customers

What you’ll do

Day-to-day, you’ll be acting as the key contact across the bank in terms of our partnership framework and forums. You’ll also provide continued oversight of strategic partnerships in the Commercial Bank. We’ll also expect you to provide input into the bank partnership forum.

You’ll lead strategic communication with key internal and external stakeholders, including helping them consider how potential strategic partnerships will be evaluated. You’ll also understand standardised tactical questions to inform decisions around partnerships in the bank ecosystem.

In addition, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Understanding the partnership landscape and potential pipeline opportunities
  • Reviewing performance of ongoing partnerships and funded innovation projects to identify where interventions or reprioritisation may need to be deployed
  • Creating cohesion across our groups, customers’ and partners’ interests and needs while understanding our partnerships intricacies and how we can enhance our customer journeys
  • Collaborating to understand the Commercial Bank partnership landscape while implementing the necessary disciplines and controls to monitor existing relationships
  • Assessing partnership opportunities as they present themselves

The skills you’ll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll have great influencing, communication, and presentation skills, coupled with a track record of solving complex issues and experience of interacting with senior internal stakeholders.

You’ll also need:

  • A change and process review mindset
  • A track record of working collaboratively in and across a large, diverse organisation, establishing partnerships across all parts of the business
  • A good understanding of research skills and insight generation with the ability to drive thought leadership
  • The ability to constantly adapt and be flexible to changing business needs, using initiative to find appropriate solutions to business challenges
