About the [email protected]:

[email protected] is part of the Allied Health Division. [email protected] program provides NDIS funded services to eligible NDIS participants with complex support needs. This includes participants with neurological impairment, acquired brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, ventilation needs and home enteral nutrition support. [email protected] aims to deliver expert care to NDIS participants who choose Austin Health as their preferred provider. The purpose of [email protected] is to ensure NDIS participants can have both their health and disability needs met by expert state-wide service providers and industry leaders at Austin Health if they choose.

The [email protected] program will facilitate home based and ambulatory interdisciplinary services to patients. The NDIS Program Manager will have responsibilities across the health service and will travel between all three campuses and Austin’s community partners as required.

About The Role

The purpose of the NDIS Services Coordinator is to support the [email protected] program and the Program Manager to establish and operationalise the business (including key business systems and processes) and ensure robust quality commissioning models to support Austin Health’s service provision under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This includes the financial, reporting, administrative functions and quality commissioning reporting for departments delivering services under the NDIS as well as providing support and education to relevant administrative and allied health staff on service delivery procedures and practices.

The role is responsible for ensuring equity of access to services for Austin Health consumers and streamlined service provision across existing programs that enable single point access to care for consumers. The NDIS Services Coordinator will be expected to initiate service improvement initiatives and ensure efficient and effective business practices under the direction of the Program Manager.
