We currently have a great opportunity for the position of Billing Officer based at our Lautoka Office who will be responsible for all accounting functions of the designated department. The Billing Officer will report to Team Leader Billing.

Job Description

  • Billing – Ensuring invoicing is done on timely manner to Internal & External customers.
  • Shipping Line Payments – To arrange payment to our respective creditors.
  • Stakeholders Payment – Ensuring that FIRCA & Biosecurity payments are done on time to avoid any service holdup. (Customs C1, SPA, Normal, Prepayments)
  • Prepare Credit Notes.
  • Overseas invoice approvals.
  • Attend to reports sent by Rec Team such as unbilled jobs, job unlocked, WIP/ACR list, code loss, GP confirmation & Clearing Internals.
  • Container control reporting on Bond fee and detention
  • Other functions as and when required

Additional Information

  • 2 years or more experience in a Finance or similar role
  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of integrity and work ethics; strong attention to detail
  • Pro-active team player
  • Highly skilled with technology and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft suite
