What You'll Be Doing Putting the customer at the heart of everything we do means we strive to deliver a consistently great customer experience. As part of the Independent Lives team you will have a key role to play in the growth and development of our service offer. We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can work with us to create and uphold a diverse range of high quality and innovative service offers for people who face the most challenges. If you enjoy collaborating at pace to create a vision for a service offer and have a winning mindset then this is the opportunity for you. You will build a great career with us as part of our leadership team whilst building lasting collaborations across our communities. You will have worked within health and social care, business, voluntary, supported housing or the homelessness sector and have a good nose for community enterprise and a sound knowledge of best practise and local opportunities. You will be responsible for leading and delivering the Curo Choice growth and investment strategy though the preparation of aspirational and cost-effective bids and tenders for new services, and renewal of established contracts which support our customers and meet the needs of our communities. Building relationships with key stakeholders and developing partnerships with new commissioners will be a key element of your role. You will be responsible for developing the business within the commissioned and self-funded market, seeking out opportunities which support our social purpose and align with our overarching Independent Lives Strategy. More About You You will be a structured, self-starter with a positive attitude and highly developed networking and advocacy skills. You will possess strong business and financial acumen, demonstrating confidence and ability in appraising and presenting business cases to a variety of audiences. At the same time, you will demonstrate resilience, a drive to succeed and exceed targets, and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same!
