New Openings Manager 

Your daily life in Bob

A real team player in charge of opening new Bob W. properties around Europe. You’ll work closely and collaboratively with most Bobstars (Bob W’s staff) to execute high-quality launches of 20+ apartment properties within the next 12 months. You are reporting directly to the Director of New Openings & Markets. This role will require you to travel for much of the year, sometimes at short notice.

‍ Take charge of new openings

  • Manage the operational roll-out of Bob W. locations around Europe, taking charge of the handover procedures and making our properties ‘guest-ready’
  • Coach and assist local teams during the pre-opening, soft opening, and ramp-up to ensure we are providing 5-star experience to our guests
  • Deliver new openings on time, on budget and continue to look for opportunities to open buildings faster and more efficiently

❗ : You will be leading multiple projects at the same time in various European cities

Deliver great buildings

  • Establish, improve & implement Bob’s standard operating procedures
  • Be on-site (for as long as necessary) to deliver top-notch buildings and assist local teams in delivering a great product
  • Project manage and coordinate all internal stakeholders to deliver a flawless product
  • Ensure hotels maintain brand compliance through pre-opening audits and action planning process

Be a custodian for the brand

  • Regularly review how we open our buildings and update the launch playbook
  • Collaborate across departments in the company to define brand standards and compliance thereof
  • Support on procurement, in particular for operating supplies and equipment and managing in time delivery
  • Work closely with the local operations teams to setup and turbocharge our day-to-day operations
  • Introduce and source partners for our existing and future properties
  • Conduct post-launch retrospective sessions to ensure the next launch is quicker and better than the last

  • At least 5 years working in hospitality operations, at a supervisory level. Ideally, experience with opening hotels, apart-hotels, or participating in pre-opening.
  • Top-notch oral, written, and planning skills
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Conscientious time management
  • Eagle eye for brand detail
  • Experience and knowledge within project management: agile, lean, and critical path methods
  • Exceptional English speaking skills and preferably a second European language
  • Is authorized to work in the UK/EU, and can travel freely around the world
