The position

As a Broadcast Schedule Operations Coordinator, you will join Broadcast Schedule Operations with the mission to help reinforce NENT’s position in broadcasting.

You will be part of a linear TV broadcast operational team to deliver daily broadcast transmission schedules for our 11 free-to-air Nordic TV channels (Sweden – TV3, TV6, TV8 & TV10. Norway – TV3, V4 & TV6. Denmark – TV3, TV3+, TV3 PULS & SEE). Our focus each day is to create a quality viewing experience by building dynamic and accurate broadcast schedules which maximise commercial, promotional, and navigational opportunities. The viewer is at the heart of everything we do so our priority is to present content and promotions to our viewers as a flowing, seamless package.

The journey ahead

In the last year, we have brought FIS Winter Sports to our Swedish and Norwegian viewers, showcased international handball championships, and launched a new entertainment and sports channel, SEE, in Denmark.

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Working collaboratively with on-air stakeholders to determine the most time efficient and effective break patterns for programmes in context of daypart.
  • Creating announcer reports that take advantage of viewer navigation opportunities
  • Managing schedule content delivery.
  • Keeping commercial airtime up to date in the live sales system.
  • Building and delivering high quality, error-free transmission schedules.
  • Executing the requisite checks to ensure a high degree of schedule accuracy.
  • Communicating effectively to make certain that all workflows run smoothly.
  • Ensuring the team’s work is cleared down at the earliest opportunity.
  • Using opportunities to strengthen Broadcast Schedule Operations’ reputation and meet or exceed the required service levels, standards, and targets.
