Role Financial Controller

Salary £36,770 – £42,280 FTE

Hybrid/Flexible 28 – 35 hours a week

For the attention of: Accountants, Management Accountants, Finance Managers, Corporate Accountants, Assistant Accountants, Financial Analysts, Senior Accountants.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Northpoint Wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a mental health and wellbeing third sector organisation experiencing rapid growth. At Northpoint we provide therapeutic services and interventions to support and improve the mental health of children, young people and adults.

Knowledge of NHS or Local Authority contracting is desirable but not essential. What is essential is a commitment to our values of Transparency, Collaboration, Responsiveness and Professionalism.

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer the successful candidate will be:

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role,
  • Experienced in management reporting, implementation and development of financial controls, financial modelling, and all aspects of managing and tracking contracts financially,
  • Comfortable working with large amounts of complex data and able to continually develop our reporting and processes to provide business insight to the Senior Leadership Team,
  • A strong communicator,
  • Able to work calmly under pressure and move often from considering the widest implications for our organisation to focussing on completing detailed work with rigour.
