Senior Product Manager - Remote

About the role

We want an experienced Product Manager to organise, shape and drive forward the product vision from start to finish, building out the team in the process. Working directly with the Chief Product Officer you will be the hub of all things product at OnePlan.

Your job is to deeply understand our customer pain points and to build the ultimate event planning platform. You will need to have ROI and customer segmentation at the centre of your thinking and prioritise development accordingly.

We are a start up transitioning into a scale up… there isn’t a manual, every day is different. It’s really important that you are comfortable with that and enjoy the challenge and creative freedom that comes with it. You need to have a positive attitude and a sense of humour.

.The role and you:

  • You are passionate about building products that can change the foundation of traditional industries through strong ideas and execution
  • You do this by combining deep analytical understanding, qualitative / quantitative research and customer experience instincts to empower the team around you to come to practical yet eloquent solutions
  • Translate ideas into strategy and features
  • You have experience in shaping product best practices, processes and culture
  • Build and implement product strategies consistent with company vision
  • Supervise and support product managers and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Prepare and review product requirements documents including refinement of wire framing.
  • You will help develop an efficient product development process by identifying and removing roadblocks to help realise product milestones
  • Organise product releases and ensure compliance with schedule
  • Prepare recommendations to track product use and impact on end user
  • You understand the importance of segmentation and developing the product for the different sectors in the event industry.
  • You have a strong analytical mindset with an obsessive focus on data to achieve business goals and meet user's needs
  • You’ll be defining which projects and features we need to prioritise and setting a timeline to hit those goals quickly
  • Solution mindset - An ability to think through client needs, commercial requirements and incorporate end-user feedback
  • Ability to demonstrate/show strong judgement and make pragmatic trade-offs 80/20 (e.g new feature development vs. feature optimization; quick wins vs. strategic initiatives)

  • Love solving problems

  • You are a seriously effective operator / communicator
  • You have the experience and character to succeed in the role.
  • 2+ years in a Senior Product Manager Role.
  • Experience and understanding of the events industry is incredibly helpful but not essential.
  • Experience of Jira helpful
